I am proud to be the first settler in Three Springs. I moved to Three Springs from my in-town Durango home because I liked the “built green” concept (my heating bills have been reduced by almost half), as well as the closeness to walking and hiking paths, offices, shops and a soon-to-open restaurant. I’ve met all the other residents here and already feel a strong sense of community. As for the Tierra staff members – they have been wonderful to work with, responding to and anticipating my needs every step of the way, from purchase to move-in and beyond. It’s great to be a “pioneer” in one of Durango’s newest, most beautiful neighborhoods, and I am so looking forward to the new friends and lasting memories I will make here. My husband and I met while we were students here at Fort lewis College. After graduation, we moved to San Diego and after living there for 13 years, we thought we'd never leave Southern California. While visiting Durango, Co over the 4th of July in 2003- we realized THIS is where we wanted to raise our kids. Six months later, we moved back to Durango and couldn't be happier about our decision.
I have worked as the Three Springs Coordinator since March 2008 and I am very excited to be part of a wonderful neighborhood development. Three Springs, the only traditional neighborhood development in Southwest Colorado, has exactly what a lot of us are looking for- walking tails, playgrounds, and better yet- a sense of community and a connection with our next door neighbors. Pacific Heights – San Francisco, California

Home to prominent businessmen, successful artists, and wealthy families, Pacific Heights sports incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay. Fillmore Street’s high end shops and trendy cafes are daytime destinations for locals when they need a break from their Victorian mansions. Home to former President George H.W. Bush, this ritzy neighborhood just 40 minutes from Palm Beach boasts easy access to yacht clubs and golf courses favored by the warm weather Florida crowd. This community along a 17 mile stretch of beach was rated by Forbes as the most expensive ZIP code in the United States.

Kensington Palace Gardens – London, England
Average Home Price: $85 million
A cut (or two!) above the rest is London’s Kensington Palace Gardens. However, few of these homes are actually owned by Brits- with the majority being snatched up by Swiss and Middle Eastern business tycoons. An ode to complete excess, this half mile street is situated between Kensington High Street and Notting Hill. High turnover of these homes seems to indicate that most of these palatial estates are investments rather than long term homes.
